About
Kūpono Cares is a private, limited practice led by David Kūpono Fong, a Hawaiʻi-based case manager with over two decades of experience working alongside individuals and families navigating complex mental health, housing, and care coordination challenges.
The practice is intentionally small and relationship-based, engaging in a limited number of situations where steady presence, discernment, and long-term stewardship matter. Work is consultative and advisory in nature, often supporting families and professionals as they evaluate options, clarify next steps, and make difficult decisions in uncertain circumstances.
Kūpono Cares does not provide emergency or clinical services and does not accept general intake. Consultations are offered by application only.
“KÅ«pono” reflects a Hawaiian value of integrity — doing what is right, even when difficult.
